About the Line

The Three Servicemen statue stands in the National Mall and is a moving representation of our veterans overlooking the Vietnam Wall. Designer Vicki Gifford began with the idea of depicting the Three Servicemen, with the flag as a background, and researched monuments that signify all branches, wars, and types of people who served in those conflicts.

She chose memorials that represent both men and women soldiers of all races, then added patriotic military quotes and medals that honor all branches. Paired with “stars and stripes” designs, the American Honor fabric line is a way to thank our veterans with something meaningful and proud.
