Some of my earliest memories as a child are standing beside the sewing machine as my mom sewed dresses for me. I was so excited when she would let me turn the wheel to raise and lower the needle. As a teenager, my mom taught me to sew clothing. I continued to grow those skills when my oldest niece was born in 2002 and continued creating for my 4 daughters. I began my first quilt in 2017 and had no idea what I was doing. I truly didn't know HST from WOF. I eventually found tutorials and have learned a ton from various resources online. What started as a hobby, has grown into a passion. I've expanded my knowledge base by becoming a certified long arm quilter. Farmhouse Fabric Shop was created as a way to share my love for fabric and quilting with others, including our 4 daughters. When you receive your order, it was likely carefully packaged by one of them. Additionally, one of our daughters in in charge of social media and video editing. We hope you'll be a part of our family as we grow.
