About the Line

The Three Servicemen statue stands in the National Mall and is a moving representation of our veterans overlooking the Vietnam Wall. Designer Vicki Gifford began with the idea of depicting the Three Servicemen with the flag as a backdrop and researched monuments that signify all branches, wars, and the people who served in those conflicts.

She chose memorials that represent both men and women soldiers of all races, then added patriotic military quotes and medals that honor all branches. Combined with “stars and stripes” motifs, the American Honor fabric line is a heartfelt way to thank veterans and create projects they can be proud of.
